The new version of KN (Tesela KN) could be in Linux and Android. But I'm considering to use in Tesela a more recent version of Delphi and also Lazarus. There are many dependencies with Windows. KeyNote NF is written in Delphi 2006 and it is NOT easy to port it to Linux. But I know that some of them will be much easier with a different architecture/design and with a more actual version of Delphi, that has a more modern language. I don't care to add new features of enhancements to actual KN if they are not very costly or if I can reuse them in Tesela KN. The refactoring work will be useful for the new application, too. But what I really want is to begin working in the new application. So, with a refactoring will be easier to correct and evolve KN. Currently it is costly to do any enhancement or bug fix. In fact Tesela will be a new, different application (with compatibilty in mind) but I wanted to keep up to date KN, that suffered from several bugs and limitations specially since newer versions of Windows (and RichEdit control). It's not free, so if you're looking for a free alternative, you could try Standard Notes or Microsoft OneNote.
I want to do that, but first an important refactoring is needed in KN. There are more than 100 alternatives to NoteCase Pro for a variety of platforms, including Windows, Mac, Linux, iPhone and Android. The edc pouch is well built and the price was absolutely reasonable compared to alternatives within.

NET but finally decided to continue in Delphi, to be able to reuse as much as code as possible and trying to keep the application light and fast. Quick delivery, satisfied with customer service follow up. I have not given up to "Tesela KN" application, that I want to be the successor of KeyNote NF.
